Career Opportunity: Veterinary Technician

Cascade Veterinary Center, a well-established veterinary clinic in Marysville, is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team.

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, offering 3 or 4 10-hour shifts per week, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional veterinary care to animals, working closely with our veterinarians to ensure the highest standards of veterinary medicine.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians in examinations, treatments, and monitoring of animals.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor vital signs, collect samples for laboratory analysis, and perform diagnostic tests.
  • Educate clients about animal care, nutrition, and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate medical charting and ensure proper maintenance of hospital equipment.

Requirements:

  • Valid certification, registration, or licensing as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT).
  • 1+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
