We are seeking a dedicated Developmental Support Specialist to join our team at Soar Autism Center, where we provide comprehensive services for children with autism and their families.

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the developmental growth of young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This role is ideal for recent college graduates or individuals with childcare experience who are passionate about supporting children's development and well-being.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team of experts, including Board-Certified Behavior Analysts, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists, to deliver evidence-based, play-centered interventions that cater to each child's unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children aged 2-6 in a clinic environment.
  • Implement intervention plans crafted by expert clinicians in behavior analysis, speech, and occupational therapy.
  • Collaborate with the child's healthcare professionals to provide consistent, high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children aged 2-6, ideally in a professional capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer and tablet literacy.
  • Reliable transportation to training location and local center.
