We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Burr Ridge Senior Living.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that involves preparing high-quality food for our residents and managing the kitchen operations. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for cooking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents in accordance with our menu plans and dietary requirements.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  • Work collaboratively with our Director of Food and Beverage to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hotel kitchen, restaurant, or similar operation.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will be eligible for medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and other voluntary insurance options. We also offer paid time off, holiday pay, Daily Pay, and discounts through Perk Spot.
