Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Government Jobs. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing skilled electrical maintenance and repair work in the maintenance of facilities and related equipment and systems for the Field Services Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical fixtures, wiring, and lighting for all City buildings, gardens, signage, and outdoor venues managed by the Field Services Department.
• Working under general supervision, you will be part of a team led by an Electrician III and report to the Chief Electrician.
• Performing skilled electrical maintenance and repair work to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
• Collaborating with other tradespeople and maintenance staff to ensure seamless maintenance and repair operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
