Job Summary:

Lifeway Foods Inc, a leading beverage manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Production Line Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our sleeving and packaging machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain sleeving and packaging machines to ensure high-quality production.
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings to prevent bottlenecks and ensure efficient production.
  • Communicate machine status and quality issues to supervisors and plant managers.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental efficiency and quality standards.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Sanitization Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three to six months of related experience or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and write comprehensive reports and procedure manuals.
  • Basic mathematical skills and understanding of algebra and geometry.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing software, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
