MRI Assistant

RadNet is seeking a highly skilled MRI Tech Aide to join our team. As an MRI Tech Aide, you will provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists, and administrative staff to ensure optimal MRI safety and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety and assist MRI Technologists to ensure MRI safety, coil positioning, patient screening, and/or history and patient observation during exams.
- Support technologists with procedures as needed, including the set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and/or clean-up of MRI suite.
- Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year experience in a medical setting.
- Completion of an approved MR Technologist Assistant program, including hands-on clinical training.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, public relations, and verbal and written communication.
- Ability to assist in lifting patients onto the table.
