Job Title: Physical Therapy Tech at St. Bernards Healthcare

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Education: Proficiency in both oral and written communication, as well as basic mathematical skills, typically acquired through the completion of high school or an equivalent program. Must hold a current CPR certification.
    • Experience: Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems and plan tasks. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Basic computer literacy is required.
    • Physical: This is a safety-sensitive role requiring physical strength to carry out essential job functions. Must adhere to the required work schedule. Normal hearing capabilities are necessary. The position involves various physical activities including sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling weights up to 250 pounds, carrying up to 35 pounds, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
  • JOB SUMMARY: The Physical Therapy Technician will operate under the close guidance of a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant. The role involves executing delegated, specific, or routine tasks in designated situations. Responsibilities include preparing patients and the treatment environment. Regular oversight will be provided by a licensed physical therapist or physical therapy assistant.
