Maine Recycling Corporation is seeking a dedicated and reliable team member to join our Redemption Center in Topsham, ME. As a Beverage Redemption Operator, you will play a vital role in our facility's operations.

Job Summary:

  • Assist with the receipt and processing of containers returned by customers.
  • Receive, clean, and stack beverage container Collapsible bins using both manual and power equipment.
  • Operate machinery designed to sort, count, and compact empty beverage containers.
  • Clean and maintain sorting areas.
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and organization.
  • Safety first.
  • Arrive to the facility on time and ready to work.

About Us:

Maine Recycling currently acts as a pickup and processing agent for some of the largest beverage manufacturers in Northern New England. Our fleet of 30 trucks with over 200 trailers enables us to provide state-wide pickup services for both new and existing beverage distributors in Maine. MRC currently employs 80 to 100 employees operating from our Lisbon Falls location. We have now expanded and opened a Redemption Center in Topsham, ME.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of $16.75 per hour, plus opportunities for overtime pay.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, working 9am to 5pm with possible overtime and weekend availability.

About You:

We are looking for individuals who possess basic math and counting skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Experience in a warehouse or production environment is helpful but not required.
