Manufacturing Process Engineer (Stamping)
FIC America Corp. is in search of a proficient Manufacturing Process Engineer with a background in stamping to enhance their engineering team. The successful applicant will be tasked with overseeing, adjusting, and assessing stamping dies to facilitate and execute enhancements in processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Safety as a fundamental aspect
- Examine stamping dies and perform trials for wear and tear
- Develop design sketches and schematics for machinery and fixtures
- Engage collaboratively with team members and maintain effective communication
- Assess process equipment, define specifications, and supervise implementation
- Work alongside production staff, suppliers, and contractors to promote process enhancements
- Employ structured problem-solving methodologies
- Interact with robotic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HMI systems to fulfill safety and customer requirements
- Comply with standard operating procedures and undertake other assigned tasks
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in stamping
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication abilities
- Openness to cross-training and willingness to work overtime as necessary
- Commitment to company policies and procedures
