Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images and videos for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning them for optimal imaging
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and exam results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • ARDMS registry required; certification in Abdomen and OB required within 1 year of hire date
  • Minimum of one year hospital experience, Radiology Department experience helpful
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
