Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and communicate results effectively.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in ultrasound technology, preferably in a travel or per-diem setting.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of diagnostic medical sonography or a related field.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, as well as stand for long periods.
