Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Saddle Creek Logistics Services. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks on our Distribution Center building, as well as assisting with various maintenance and warehouse functions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on the Distribution Center building, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
- Assist with various maintenance and warehouse functions, including receiving and storing inventory, and performing tasks related to the upkeep of the facility.
- Operate a forklift, boom lift, and other motorized equipment as needed.
- Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly safety checks to ensure a safe and clean environment for employees and patrons.
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, and other structures and items.
- Maintain warehouse, shelving, and racks in clean and orderly conditions.
- One year of experience as a semi-skilled worker in one or more of the basic building maintenance trades, or one year of experience in a warehouse distribution operation.
- Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including off-shift hours and weekend assignments.
- Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 pounds occasionally, and frequently exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects.
This position requires frequent periods of standing and walking, which may include climbing ladders and staircases. Work involves stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting/turning, and reaching. Indoor/outdoor work environment with exposure to weather extremes.
