Job Summary:

As a Server at Benihana National Corp, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve interacting with guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, using a point-of-sale system to manage orders and payments.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that guests receive their orders promptly.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions, handling payments and making change as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and efficient food delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Basic understanding of beer, wine, spirits, and sake preferred.
  • Where applicable, holds a state and/or local food handlers card.
  • Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older or in accordance with state law.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
