Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Veterinary Clinical Manager to lead our Emergency and Critical Care department at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of the Emergency and Critical Care department, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and other department heads to develop and implement hospital-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the department staff, including veterinarians, technicians, and support personnel.
  • Ensure the department is operating within budget and making recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, referring veterinarians, and other stakeholders to promote the hospital's services and reputation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a veterinary hospital management role, preferably in an emergency and critical care setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support personnel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
