Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at Wichita Public Schools. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all plumbing and related equipment for our schools.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving plumbing issues in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning drains and inspecting plumbing systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that plumbing needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Plumbing Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in plumbing, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Valid Kansas driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Salary Range

$55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
