Role Overview

The Acute Care Resident RN will work in our ICU East 3 department at Covenant Medical Center, delivering high-quality care to our patients and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered care, prioritizing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Collaborate with our medical staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatments.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a culture of safety and quality improvement within our team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • New Mexico Registered Nurse License upon hire, or Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire, or Texas Graduate Nurse Permit upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.
