Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at TotalMed Staffing. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to work with patients who require physical therapy services. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patients' physical abilities, developing personalized treatment plans, and administering therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and function.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities, such as electrical stimulation, heat, or cold therapy, to improve patients' range of motion, strength, and function.
Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for home management, promoting independence and self-care.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of services.
Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Required Qualifications

A valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
A minimum of two years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a similar setting.
Strong communication and adaptability skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
