About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathology Specialist to join our team at Harlingen Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare. As a Speech Pathology Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and implementing treatment plans for patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and other services prescribed by a physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Assist in developing and implementing new programs to enhance department services

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy
  • MS degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital setting
  • Licensed by the State in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current BLS for healthcare providers certification
