We specialize in emergency response, remediation, and industrial, marine, and waste services, serving a multitude of industries including transportation, utilities, energy, environmental consultants, industrial facilities, terminals, environmental service companies, general contractors, property owners, and the public sector.

As a CDL Driver / Operator, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe transport of equipment to job sites and performing a variety of tasks associated with industrial and environmental cleaning, hazardous waste pick-up and disposal, emergency response and remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive trucks, tankers and other vehicles requiring a CDL to/from job sites
  • Load and unload equipment from vehicles, trailers and watercraft
  • Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment utilized in field operations, such as backhoes, excavators, etc.
  • Perform physical labor associated with cleanup activities, sample collection, waste removal and other remediation services
  • Ensure assigned equipment is maintained in optimal condition by performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance; refer defects and/or needed repairs to supervisor
  • Assist with routine facility maintenance & inventory management tasks as required
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required driver logs, documentation, forms, etc. as required
  • Follow all applicable safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site specific safety plans

Requirements:

  • Must be able to successfully pass HEPACO's pre-employment background check, physical exam, and drug screening
  • CDL Driver / Operators must also successfully pass FMCSA Clearinghouse query and have a clean driving record
  • Physical strength and dexterity sufficient to perform the required task
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds or more with assistance
