Job Summary
The University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty Field Liaison to join our team. As a Field Liaison, you will serve as the University's representative to the field placement agency, providing guidance and support to both the agency supervisor(s) and the student.
Key Responsibilities
- Orient students to field instruction and supervision, ensuring a quality learning experience.
- Clarify program policies and procedures, providing students with the necessary tools for success.
- Develop and implement Individualized Field Education Plans (IFEPs) to facilitate student learning and growth.
- Visit agencies virtually a minimum of three times during the student's internship, providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Mentor students through their role as a student learner and professional, promoting their development and growth.
- Monitor the educational field placement experience, ensuring it meets the University's standards and expectations.
- Communicate with agency supervisors and Field Education Office staff to ensure a smooth and successful internship experience.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
- 5 years of post-Master's practice experience.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agency experience in a variety of practice settings, including direct and indirect services.
- Experience as an agency field supervisor for social work graduate students.
