Position Overview:

The Division of Ophthalmology at MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible pediatric ophthalmologist to enhance our dynamic and academically focused team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive experience in all facets of pediatric ophthalmology.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Engagement in daily clinical operations, encompassing outpatient consultations, surgical procedures, and hospital-based evaluations.
  • Exposure to a diverse range of pediatric ophthalmology cases, from routine issues to complex medical conditions.
  • Utilization of advanced diagnostic tools, including OCT, ERG, and VEP.

Educational Contributions:

The physician will play a pivotal role in the education and mentorship of ophthalmology residents and medical students, fostering the next generation of medical professionals.
