Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Voyager Energy Services LLC. This position is essential for ensuring that our products meet the high standards expected by our clients.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality in a dynamic work environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating proficiency in fundamental welding techniques.
  • Setting up and operating MIG welding equipment for various material thicknesses.
  • Fabricating and assembling metal components as required.
  • Interpreting blueprints to guarantee compliance with project specifications.
  • Utilizing effective communication and organizational skills to enhance workflow.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role is performed in a fabrication shop, which entails specific physical requirements:

  • Capability to maneuver welding equipment in various positions.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and occasionally lift heavy materials.
  • Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions and potentially dusty environments.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of welding experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with standard welding tools and techniques, including MIG welding and metal finishing.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines effectively.
  • Successful completion of a welding test is required.
