Nurse Care Specialist

SUITEMATE STAFFING SOLUTIONS INC is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a leadership role. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a residential setting, with a focus on moderate to complex patient service work.
Key Responsibilities- Perform health assessments campus-wide and respond to medical emergencies on campus.
- Communicate health status/needs to other disciplines, families as needed, and provide personnel management to subordinate nursing staff.
- Delegate work assignments, evaluate employee performance, and comply with all State/Federal/Local standards.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the nursing process and nursing procedures, and actively participate in meetings related to care of persons served.
- Provide treatment to in-house employees injured in the course and scope of employment.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas (or a state that recognizes reciprocity through the Nurse Licensure Compact).
- Current CPR certification and valid Photo ID.
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing procedures and practices and of the Texas Nursing Practice Act, Rules and Regulations of the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.
- Ability to identify nursing interventions appropriate to the population served, manage and take a leadership role in managing emergencies, and communicate effectively with other staff members.
