Role Summary

Objective: To take and deliver food and beverage orders to guests in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warmly greet guests and efficiently take their food and beverage orders, adhering to established service protocols.
  • Deliver orders promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of menu items and ingredients, providing recommendations and accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and special requests.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, maintaining a positive and patient demeanor when interacting with guests and team members.
  • Handle cash transactions and follow proper cash management procedures.
  • Promote a clean and safe environment for guests, ensuring all areas are tidy and meet sanitation standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding any personal or medical information shared by guests.
  • Address guest complaints or issues promptly, relaying necessary information to supervisors.
  • Prepare guest areas before and after service, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Utilize various equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines, as required.
  • Collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Willingness to obtain ServSafe Alcohol Certification.
