Job Summary:

As a Commissioning Technician at Southern Air, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of new and existing construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and perform startup activities, system performance evaluations, and documentation of per-functional activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining action item lists and participating in point-to-point system checkout, functional system testing activities, and resolution of operational deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and perform startup activities and system performance evaluations on new and existing construction projects
Document per-functional activities and maintain action item lists
Participate in point-to-point system checkout, functional system testing activities, and resolution of operational deficiencies
Collaborate with the final Commissioning team to ensure successful project completion

Requirements:

Background in HVAC or Electrical with strong technical skills and diagnostic capabilities
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
Good oral and written communication skills and computer literacy
Ability to work independently in a commercial setting and handle disruptions with professionalism

Wages $16 - $40 an hour (depending on experience and education)
