Job Summary

The CDL Class B Truck Driver with Tanker Endorsement is a critical role at Wayne Brothers Companies, requiring a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to operate water trucks, sweepers, and rollers on various project sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work safely and productively on project sites, adhering to WBI, client, OSHA, and DOT safety requirements.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload equipment, ensuring correct securement in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Transport equipment and materials, interacting with internal and external customers professionally.
  • Wash trucks and equipment when not driving, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Verify the right equipment or material is available for each job, and perform all assigned roles and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Class B license with tanker endorsement required.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification required; training provided by Wayne Brothers.
  • First Aid/CPR certification desirable.
Working Conditions
  • Work outdoors frequently, with occasional indoor work.
  • Exposure to loud noise, varying temperatures, and uneven terrain.
  • 40-60 hour work week, with occasional overtime.
Physical Demands
  • Lifting, carrying, or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent steering, riding, bouncing, and climbing.
  • Sitting for long periods of time, with focus on concentration and attention to detail.
