Overview of the Job

">

We are seeking a Nursing Professional to join our team in providing professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. This role requires strong knowledge of nursing principles and the ability to demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population specific standards related to the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident as per care plan.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Nursing Professional, you will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Evaluating data reflective of the resident's status and providing the care needed;">
  • Recognizing problems, recommending solutions and responding effectively to assist in an emergent situation;">
  • Ensuring the health, comfort and safety of residents;">
  • Contributes to the assessment of residents and administers medications or treatments as ordered;">
  • Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed;">
  • Documents resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary;">
  • Counsels residents, family members and/or resident advocate, under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider or physician on prevention and treatment plans;">
  • Knowledge of resident education principles to develop a self-care program;">
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

">
  • ">
  • A graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse;">
  • An Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred;">
  • If position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing;">
  • A minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility;">
  • An unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges;">
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.">

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.00 - $48.00 per hour, with an estimated annual salary of $55,760.00 - $99,840.00 based on 28 hours worked per week. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, work/life balance benefits, and a generous time off package.
