Cashier Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cashier Part Time at BJ's Wholesale Club. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our members.

Key Tasks:

  • Process member purchases in a timely and efficient manner
  • Scans all club merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
  • Collect payments via cash, check, or other charge payments from members
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the frontline area and assist with general club housekeeping as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic math skills and prior cashier or sales experience preferred
  • Able to lift objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally move heavy and/or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance
  • Regular, predictable attendance required
