The Friendly Toast is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils, and place them in racks to be washed.
  • Operate the dish machine and ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
  • Set up or break down the dishwashing area as needed.
  • Clean and roll/unroll mats.
  • Fills/empties soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
  • Sweep/mop floors.
  • Assemble/disassemble the dish machine.
  • Notify the manager if the dish machine's wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
Requirements
  • Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions
  • Hours may vary.
  • Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operating machinery.
