Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in the Flowers office.
We are looking for a professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of oral health.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient dental condition and needs using patient screening procedures
- Deliver direct patient care using established dental hygienist procedures
- Take patient vital signs and perform routine treatment procedures
- Apply sealants and fluorides, and take radiographs as required
- Document patient dental history and chief complaint, and record and report pertinent observations
- Teach patients how to prevent tooth decay and gum disease through proper diet and oral home care
- Clean and sterilize instruments, and complete treatment plans as prescribed by the dentist
Requirements:
- Completed dental hygiene certificate program or Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Current Hygienist license for the state of North Carolina
- Ability to demonstrate independent thinking and exercise good judgment
- Ability to formulate, affect, interpret, and/or implement operating practices
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork approach to job responsibilities
