Key Duties:
1. Perform site assessments and surveying to establish optimal design criteria.

2. Create innovative and effective designs for paving and grading.

3. Engineer and supervise water distribution and wastewater management systems.

4. Develop and implement comprehensive stormwater management plans.

5. Ensure the execution of effective erosion and sediment control practices.

6. Collaborate with a diverse range of clients to fulfill their engineering requirements.

Qualifications:
1. Proven experience across all stages of construction projects, from initial design to construction oversight.

2. Expertise in design development, permitting, preparation of plans and specifications, cost estimation, and bidding.

3. Skilled in negotiating change orders and approving contractor payment requests.

4. Familiarity with Department of Defense protocols is advantageous.

Requirements:
1. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

2. Capacity to make informed, independent, and professional decisions.

3. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering from an accredited institution.

4. At least 10 years of progressive civil engineering experience.

5. Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of South Carolina.

6. Ability to secure Department of Defense security clearance, including thorough background investigations.
