We are seeking a dedicated Optometric Technician to join our front office team at Dr. Nez and Associates Inc. As an essential part of our team, you will assist the optometrist in pretesting patients and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and provide professional customer service
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect copays
  • Enter patient data and maintain patient demographics
  • Explain processes to prepare patients for pretesting and perform vision pre-screenings
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and fellow teammates
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service and optometry office experience preferred
  • Ability to work at different locations and lift up to 20 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using optical pretesting equipment
  • Evidence of strong working relationship with doctors
  • Experience in customer service and bilingual skills (Spanish preferred)
