Shuttle Operator

Job Summary:

A seasonal team member position with the responsibility of transporting guests to and from the parking lot to the front gate, directing pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and monitoring parking lots.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that guests abide by all policies and procedures while entering, riding, and exiting the tram.
• Drive trams and provide information to guests as they are shuttled to and from the parking lot.
• Direct traffic to the toll plaza and buses into the east and west parking lots.
• Monitor the parking lot from a 40-foot tower and ensure that guests stay on sidewalks while walking to and from the park.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid Georgia Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Communicate effectively in the English language.
• Be available to work flexible hours at nights, overnights, and on weekends.

• React well in stressful and emergency situations.
• Possess above-average communication skills.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Be safety-conscious and have a friendly demeanor.

Physical Requirements:

• Continued sitting, standing, and bending; frequent kneeling.
• Eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech.
• Stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day.
• Lift and carry 25 lbs. over 25 feet.
• Climb a 40-foot tower.
