Job Summary

At HELP-Hire Healthcare, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/ Sanitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and Sanitize Equipment and Utensils: Wash dishes by hand or place them in a dishwashing machine, ensuring all equipment and utensils are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Sweep, mop, clean, and vacuum floors, and remove trash and garbage to designated areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers.
  • Assist with Supply Management: Transfer supplies and equipment within and between storage and work areas, such as the pantry and dish room, to ensure efficient operations.
  • Comply with Sanitation and Safety Standards: Clean equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards, and comply with all HACCP policies and procedures, as well as company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Training and Development: Attend all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training, participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments, and attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
