At Fourth Floor, we're seeking a talented and experienced 3D Global Design Director to lead our team in creating innovative window displays, retail activations, event concepts, props, and fixture programs.

About the Role:

  • We're looking for someone with at least 6 years of industry experience in Visual Merchandising, Industrial Design, or Interior Design.
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Visual Design, or a related field.
  • A portfolio showcasing Visual Merchandising and retail activation projects is a must.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and pitch window displays, retail activations, event concepts, props, and fixture programs that exceed expectations.
  2. Develop highly detailed and production-ready 3D models and technical drawings using Rhino CAD (or similar software), considering manufacturability, assembly, and tolerance requirements.
  3. Render concepts with realistic color, lighting, materials, and textures quickly and efficiently.
  4. Create innovative design concepts, sketches, and renderings that effectively communicate ideas and features to stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, user insights, and technical specifications to drive design decisions.
  6. Participate in design reviews, presenting your ideas to internal teams.

Must-Have Skills & Requirements:

  • Advanced 3D rendering skills in Rhino, 3ds Max, and Vray.
  • Strong design sensibility and point of view.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
