AHS Staffing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for an exciting travel opportunity in Georgia.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a 12-week assignment in Grovetown, Georgia. As a Travel Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds, providing personalized therapy services to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and schools.
- Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A valid license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Georgia.
- At least 1 year of experience as an occupational therapist, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
