The LPN/LVN Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team at CIEL Senior Living, providing high-quality care and support to our residents. As a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and promote a positive living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Direct Care: Administer medications, perform vital sign checks, and provide wound care to residents as needed.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document Resident Information: Accurately record resident data, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Supervise Resident Assistants: Oversee the activities of Resident Assistants, ensuring they provide high-quality care and support to residents.
- Participate in Medication Management: Assist with medication administration, including counting and documenting narcotic supplies.
- Contribute to Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including audits and chart reviews, to ensure the highest level of care.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and respectful communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Stay Current with Industry Developments: Attend training sessions and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Education and Licensure: Current LPN licensure in good standing and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One-to-two years of experience in assisted living or a related field.
- Certifications: CPR certification and any other certifications required by the state or facility.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
