Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
  • Certifications: Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Skills: Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential for this role.
Job Description

As a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include:

  • Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members.
  • Providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members.
  • Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes.
  • Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
  • Sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transporting patients as needed.
