Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Line Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Executing various types of transmission and distribution pole line tasks, which include climbing poles and installing or maintaining crossarms, pins, insulators, wires, cables, transformers, cutouts, lightning arrestors, and associated equipment.
- Working on live lines and equipment while adhering to the Company's Distribution and/or Transmission Standards and Safety Regulations.
- Taking charge of emergency operations with minimal supervision and overseeing the work of less experienced technicians.
- Participating in standby requirements for the area.
- Maintaining necessary records and performing additional relevant tasks as assigned.
Applicant Requirements:
- Must have successfully completed the examination and be a certified 1/C, 2/C, or 3/C Line Technician.
- Possession of a Class II driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Must comply with the Company’s random drug and alcohol testing policy.
- Residing within a reasonable distance from the headquarters and being available for emergency assignments is essential.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position is necessary.
