We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Altru Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current RN licensure in North Dakota or compact state agreement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) certification preferred.
This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of up to 50 pounds. The work environment is primarily indoor, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
This is an infrequent driver position, with occasional use of a vehicle for work-related purposes.
