Cybernetics Engineer

Converge Resources is seeking a mid-level CygNet SCADA Engineer to join our newly formed in-house SCADA/Automation team. This role will be critical in both front-end screen development and back-end system troubleshooting.

• Design, build, and modify CygNet SCADA screens to meet operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot, fix, and optimize backend issues within the CygNet system, ensuring seamless communication between devices and the SCADA platform.
• Oversee the installation, upgrades, and administration of the CygNet server and infrastructure.
• Create and manage customized customer reports out of CygNet, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and help desk support for the SCADA system to internal stakeholders.
• Work with the automation team to integrate XPOC into existing systems and ensure smooth data flow for well optimization.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with CygNet SCADA systems.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and modify CygNet SCADA screens tailored to field operations.
• Strong experience in fixing backend issues related to DDS Comm settings and communication breakdowns.
• Knowledge of generating and customizing reports in CygNet, with the ability to provide actionable insights through customer reports.
• Experience with XPOC software is highly preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently and effectively.
• Comfortable working closely with the automation, production, and IT teams to ensure SCADA performance aligns with business goals.
