We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. Our Emergency Department is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that provides a wide range of challenges and opportunities for professional growth.
Job Summary:The Emergency Room Nurse will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services. This role requires strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work well under pressure.
A successful candidate will have experience in emergency nursing, with a strong foundation in assessment, treatment, and management of patients with various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize tasks effectively, work collaboratively as part of a team, and maintain accurate records and documentation.

TriStar Summit Medical Center is a 234-bed comprehensive facility serving Davidson, Wilson, and surrounding counties. We offer a full array of acute care services, including cardiology, oncology, orthopedics/spine, rehabilitation, and women's services. Our hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center with PCI and is a Primary Stroke Center, providing expert care for heart and stroke emergencies.

**What You'll Do:**
- Assess and manage patients with various medical conditions, including behavioral health needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing patient needs and safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, documenting patient progress and outcomes
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and advancements in emergency nursing
**Requirements:**
- RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or compact state
- Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current BLS from American Heart Association
- ACLS and PALS within one year of employment
- CPI within six months of employment
- Minimum two years of experience as a registered nurse
**Salary:** $76,000 - $94,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
