Position Overview:
Marvin is undergoing a significant transformation in both business and technology that will shape our future operations. We are seeking a Project Manager to guide and support a multidisciplinary team focused on the Global Design and Implementation of the Enterprise Platform Transformation (EPT) initiative.
The responsibilities of the project team encompass process design, implementation strategy, and collaboration with external Solution Implementation (SI) partners. The Project Manager will operate within the Project Management Office (PMO), facilitating engagement, collaboration, and alignment on the overarching EPT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce project management methodologies and processes within the PMO to ensure timely project delivery, budget adherence, high-quality standards, and fulfillment of customer expectations.
- Oversee all technical and non-technical facets throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.
- Monitor progress against established milestones, budgetary constraints, and other performance metrics, while preparing comprehensive reports for senior management.
- Assemble project teams and manage daily operations and prioritization.
- Act as a liaison between team members and management regarding project updates.
- Assist in the selection, negotiation, and management of external consultants or vendors.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to develop and manage project scope, budget, and master schedule.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey project status and deliverables to key stakeholders during Leadership/Executive Reviews.
- Exceptional presentation abilities, including the capacity to narrate the project and product effectively.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding team members to ensure project success.
- Ability to serve as a liaison across functions while fostering and maintaining functional relationships.
- Capability to build and sustain both internal and external working relationships.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
