Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Community Support: Assist individuals with transportation to medical appointments, outings, and field trips, as well as support with daily living skills such as meal preparation and medication administration.
  • Daily Living Skills: Assist individuals with daily living skills, including personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
  • Developmental Goals: Provide guidance and support to individuals in achieving their developmental goals, including community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Age: Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Experience: Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Background Check: Successful clearance of background checks
  • Attitude: Reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
