Job Summary

This position requires an individual to safely drive a petroleum delivery vehicle to customer locations, making deliveries in all types of weather and conditions. Overtime is possible in the heating season. This is a seasonal position, and seasonal employees are eligible to contribute to a 401(k) plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth by the local District Manager.
  • Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
  • Deliver propane to customer locations in an efficient, punctual, and safe manner.
  • Engage in daily interaction with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with sales initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug test, and Homeland Security Background Check.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Hazmat endorsement and Tanker endorsement.
  • Minimum 2-year CDL license.
  • Ability to frequently lift cylinders weighing 40-50 pounds.
Working Conditions

This position requires working outdoors in various weather and driving conditions. The employee must be capable of frequently lifting cylinders weighing 40-50 pounds and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, Customer Service, and Employee Teamwork.
