- Communicate Effectively: Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient advocacy.
- Manage Caseload: Manage a caseload of patients, including scheduling and coordinating care, and ensuring timely completion of treatment plans.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest research, evidence-based practices, and industry developments to provide the highest level of care.
- Education: Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a home health or acute hospital setting.
- Licensure: Current Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of Wisconsin (or Illinois).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
