We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at North Oaks Medical Center. As an LPN in our Orthopedic Neurosurgery department, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, collecting data, and documenting patient records.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in operational functions, such as maintaining inventory and assisting with policy development.
- Maintain satisfactory relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in professional development activities, including attending committee meetings and in-service programs.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current LA LPN license.
- Membership in an LPN organization is encouraged.
- Medium strength.
- Occasional pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
This is a full-time position, working 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week, with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate competency in age-specific criteria and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
