Key Responsibilities- Monitor and improve site safety, health, and environmental policies and processes
- Assist with creating and delivering safety and environmental training to team members
- Operate as a shop floor liaison and promote a safety-oriented culture
- Participate in Lean and Kaizen activities and directives for the plant
- Complete accident investigations and reports
- Ensure all PPE is on site and available as needed
- Lead the emergency response team
- Support the EHS Manager with BWC
- Perform new hire orientation safety training
- Utilize the LMS system, including documentation of training
- Complete needed safety and environmental testing
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and filed accurately
- Assist with the recycling program
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 1-3 years of similar safety work experience
- Experience supporting safety initiatives in manufacturing environments
- Experience completing incident investigations
- Experience performing safety training, with a willingness to create training and deliver it to large groups at a time
- Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Skills preferred but NOT required

Individuals should enjoy spending 50-60% or more of their time on the manufacturing floor, requiring candidates to be able to walk 2-4 miles daily as needed.
