Piedmont Macon North Hospital is seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of quality nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. This includes operational issues during your shift and providing clinical care as needed when census demands. You will communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s). Additionally, you will serve as a resource for guidance and assistance to the staff. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in nursing and at least one year of experience in a hospital setting. A current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License is required. BLS certification is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting and a Bachelor's degree. Advanced certification in the field of specialty is also desirable. Demonstrated clinical competency is essential for this role.
