Locum Anesthesiologist Opportunity

Aya Locums is currently seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to fill a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Wilmington, NC. Job Summary:
This CRNA position involves providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and postoperative pain management. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Requirements:
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license in North Carolina
- National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program
- At least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting
